HOW TO USE

Old bonds out. New tabs on. Your extension hair, ready to wear again.

CLEAN
Ensure all old adhesive has been fully removed from the weft using the Hair Choice Taped Bond Remover and PRO TOOL Tape Scraper before applying new tabs.
PEEL
Peel the backing from one side of the Tape Tab and press it firmly onto the cleaned underside of the weft, aligning it flush with the edge.
SECTION
Take a clean horizontal section of natural hair and sandwich it between two wefts, with the tape faces pressing together on either side of the section.
PRESS
Use the Hair Choice Tape Extensions Pliers to press the sandwich firmly closed along the full width of the tab for a secure, even bond.

Tape Tabs are replacement adhesive tabs used to re-tape hair extensions that have been previously worn and had their original bond removed. They allow you to reuse your tape extension hair rather than replacing the wefts, extending the life of your investment across multiple applications.

The Tape Tabs use a bespoke Hair Choice adhesive formula developed specifically to secure the weft securely while minimising any damage to the natural hair. They are designed for use with the Hair Choice Tape Hair Extensions range and are the recommended re-tape solution for maintaining bond integrity between refits.

The number of tabs you need depends on how many wefts are in your set. A standard full head application uses between 40 and 80 tape pieces depending on density. If you are unsure how many packs to order, our team is happy to advise based on your extension set via WhatsApp.

Re-taping is typically carried out by a stylist as part of a maintenance appointment, as the removal of the old bond and correct placement of the new tab requires experience to do cleanly without damaging the hair. If your stylist is not already using Hair Choice Tape Tabs, you can bring them along to your refit appointment.
