Tape adhesive scraper tool and board

The perfect combination to eliminate that frustrating, and typically lengthy re tape process. No more picking and sticking with this seamless set, reducing the time spent by almost 70%.

Includes an aluminium, non slip flat board, that can be used on any appropriate surface/table and a hand held adhesive scraper tool to easily remove the glue without damaging the hair.

Adhesive scraper tool is also available to purchase individually

HOW TO USE

The board holds. The scraper removes. Together they make re-taping the fastest part of your appointment rather than the most frustrating.

SET UP
Place the aluminium board on a firm, flat work surface. The non-slip base keeps it stable throughout the process without needing to be fixed down.
POSITION
Lay the weft adhesive-side up on the board after applying Bond Remover and allowing the adhesive to soften.
SCRAPE
Hold the weft at one end and draw the scraper firmly along the adhesive in short strokes from end to end, using the board as a stable backing surface for controlled, consistent pressure.
RETAPE
Wipe the scraper blade clean between passes, then apply fresh Tape Tabs to the cleaned weft once all adhesive residue has been removed.

FAQs

The bundle includes the Hair Choice PRO TOOL Tape Scraper and the Hair Choice PRO aluminium board. The board is flat, non-slip, and can be placed on any appropriate work surface. Together they create a dedicated re-tape workstation that removes the need for improvised setups.

Used together, the scraper and board can reduce re-tape time by around 70% compared to the traditional method of manually picking and removing adhesive. For a busy salon doing multiple re-tape appointments per week, that adds up to a significant saving in appointment time and client chair time.

The aluminium board is non-slip and purpose-built to keep the extension stable while you work the scraper across the bond. A standard table surface does not offer the same grip or resistance, which can make the scraping process slower and less controlled. The board is also easy to clean between clients and is designed to withstand repeated professional use.

Yes. The board is portable and the bundle is compact enough to travel in a professional kit bag. It is equally practical for a mobile stylist working at a client's home as it is for a fixed salon workstation.

Yes. The board is available individually as the Hair Choice PRO Board Only, so there is no need to repurchase the full bundle if you already have the scraper. Both tools are also available as the complete bundle for the best overall value if you are buying both for the first time.
